| For easier handling of the payment there is the possibility of debiting your account directly with the congress fees.
Due to bank related technical reasons this service only applies for bank institutes within Germany. In case of you
are not able to take advantage of this service please transfer the fees (including any arising bank charges) to the

The name used to transfer the registration fee must be that of the delegate registered. In the event of a combined transfer for more than one participant then the names or numbers of each registrant must appear on the confirmation sheet relating to the transfer. Payment is also possible with credit card (Visa and Eurocard/Mastercard are accepted). At the end of the registration process there is the possibility of printing out a registration protocol. In due course a booking confirmation, which will automatically be generated and in the meantime is still without obligation, will be sent to you by E-Mail. Your registration is binding. A binding confirmation/invoice follows by mail in written form. In case you do not receive a confirmation within three weeks, please contact us by phone, fax or E-Mail. The registration is also binding without the confirmation. The congress documents will be available for you on site. For a smooth running during the registration time please have your confirmation and pay receipt available (if payment is not made by direct debit service or credit card). Please note that the participation fees will automatically be increased after the deadline (from 2nd August 2012). Please note that the cancellation of registration must be confirmed in writing. We kindly request you not to send any registration after 5th September 2012 but register then directly on site at the registration counter. In the event of registration being cancelled before the 5th September 2012 we must charge a cancellation fee of € 20,-. Beyond this deadline, or in the case of non participation, the complete amount will become due and the congress fee is then non-refundable. In case of cancellation (in written form to MCN) the congress pass as well as all other documents has to be sent back to MCN latest until 5th September 2012. A refund of workshop fees will not be possible at any stage due to the limited number of participants. A rescission of childcare is available for free until 5th September 2012. After this deadline, the full fee is payable. |

| Despite intensive planning and preparation we cannot exclude the possibility that some parts of the meeting,
accessible by delegates with day or permanent passes, may reach it’s maximum capacity. Apart from those
workshops which can be booked separately, this eventuality cannot be ruled out. Unfortunately we cannot
acknowledge a legal claim to the right of congress participation or to a refund of congress fees in the event of such
an inconvenience. You will receive the congress passes by post about 2 weeks before the congress. Please note that we must be in receipt of your registration and payment by not later than 2 weeks before the congress begins for us to post you the passes. It is not possible for us to post passes if we receive registrations / payment after that, i.e. your congress pass will be kept for you at the conference desk for you to pick up. We must point out that should you forget your pass, or if it must be reprinted at the conference, we shall charge a processing fee of € 20,-. No guarantee shall be assumed for changes in programmes and for postponements of events. Organizer reserves the right to change the time or the venue of events or parts thereof (workshops). This shall also entail the cancellation of individual program points. This shall not result in the right to withdrawal for the attendees. Claims to damages therefrom shall be ruled out. Organizer engages to notify the attendees immediately after obtaining knowledge of necessary changes. Organizer shall further not be liable for the presence of announced speakers. Failure to attend shall not mean that a claim to damages of any kind shall accrue to the attendee. Organizer shall endeavour to make remedy by adequate replacement. The current status of the speakers can be seen from the online publication with the limitation of a period of one week before the start of the event. Later amendments shall no longer be possible online for technical reasons. Over and above this, the claim to damages for defective, non-existent or incomplete publications in the printed matter or on the homepage of the congress shall be ruled out. |
| Accreditation |
| Attendance at the event will be two times a day. Every medical participant must register his or her attendance
two times a day (in the morning and in the afternoon) by giving their personal identification number or scanning the
barcode and signing in the lists distributed for the purpose. For your participation in the courses, we ask that you enter your registration number in the lists provided as shown on your identity card when entering the respective venues, and confirm it with your signature. Please note that certification points cannot be given for both points where programmes overlap such as courses and seminars etc. Here, certification points will only be given for one programme point. Following assessment, the certificates will be sent by post within the next few weeks. Please note that no retrospective registration is possible. |
| Data protection notes |
| Participant nametags are given a “data matrix code” that states the following participant data in
coded form (participant number, title, first name, surname, address, e-mail address). These codes can be read
using scanners on the stands. This service helps exhibitor companies with their post congress work and improves
the flow of information from the point of view of the congress participants too. Please support best possible dialogue
between participants and industry! If you should not agree to data being collected in this way, please cross out the data matrix code. The barcode also featured on your pass must not be affected by this as this is for proper certification purposes and is canned in at the doors. For information: this barcode only includes the participant number. The MCN Team would be delighted to help with any questions at any time. |
