As only a limited number of abstracts can be accepted, the Scientific Advisory Board must make a selection.
The abstracts will be published in the abstract book.

DGAI-members in-training who present a free paper or poster are exempt from the congress fees in recognition of their scientific commitment.
The abstract must structured in a way, that includes all the necessary information for it to be published in the abstract book.
The following structure should be adhered to:
- background
- methods
- results
- conclusion
Notification is required if the lecturer will not be the original author of the abstract. Abstracts are to be presented as free papers or posters. The Scientific Advisory Board reserves the right to categorize accepted abstracts in accordance with the requirements and topics of the respective sessions. By making a submission authors accept being offered either form of presentation. Notification will be given to authors regarding the approval or rejection of submissions by the middle of July 2012 at the latest.
The organizer also reserves the right to amend faulty abstracts. By submitting the abstract the author cedes his copyright to the submitted material and is not entitled to request further remuneration.
The responsibility of the authors to respect possible copyright claims of third parties lies with the authors of the submissions. Thus the submitting author guarantees that figures, tables etc. are not liable to third party claims, which may hinder a publication.
